Archbishop Leonard Blair dispenses obligation to attend Ascension Thursday Mass.
Archbishop Leonard Blair has dispensed each and every Catholic in the Archdiocese of Hartford from the obligation to attend Mass for the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, regularly a holy day of obligation.
