SS. Isidore and Maria Parish 2020 Annual Collection now underway!

September 2020

With the fall season upon us, I truly hope that this letter finds you well. As we know all know, 2020 has brought unprecedented challenges to every aspect of our lives. We continue to meet these challenges using our faith and creative resources, which allow us to negotiate what each day brings. While change is a part of our lives, we also need the stability and focus that our traditions and institutions provide. The changing seasons also remind us to take the opportunity, every day, to savor all of the beauties God places before us and to open our eyes to the wonders of His presence. With the beginning of each new day, we have an opportunity to give rightful praise and worship to our Creator and live, as fully as possible, the Good News of Jesus Christ. Doing so provides us with the fortitude and resolve to face whatever comes.

This year has brought tremendous practical, spiritual and financial challenges to our parish as well. I am grateful that we have been able, through your generosity, to maintain our programs, our facilities and our parish ministries and services. There is still more that we need to do. Our changing times require that we find new and creative ways of keeping ourselves connected to our mission by developing more online programs and opportunities, foster new possibilities for Evangelization and Discipleship, and plan for the future. We need your help in order to do these things. For these reasons, I ask for your assistance in making our 2020 Annual Collection a success. The monies generated from this yearly appeal are already earmarked in our parish budget for our operational expenses. The success of our parish, materially, pastorally and spiritually relies on your generous support. Will you consider helping us this year?

Our parish makes Christ’s love visible every day and there are so many who work tirelessly in order to advance the mission of God’s church. I am grateful for your continued support, especially your generous donation to our 2020 Annual Collection. Please prayerfully consider this request, and make your online donation now.

Thank you again for considering this appeal! There is much work to do. Without the tangible presence of our faith, where would we be?

Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Rev. Mark S. Suslenko, Pastor
