As the world continues to grapple with the effects of hunger across the world, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is asking for your help with the 2021 CRS Rice Bowl program. CRS Rice Bowl is the Lenten program of Catholic Relief Services, the official relief and development agency of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
From Ash Wednesday (Feb. 17) through Holy Thursday (April 1), SS. Isidore and Maria Parish will be collecting Lenten alms to support the work of CRS in addressing the increased hardships of global hunger and malnutrition brought on by COVID-19 and other natural disasters.
Twenty-five percent of donations to CRS Rice Bowl stays in the Archdiocese of Hartford for distribution through parishes for projects supporting the alleviation of hunger and poverty.
