Who May Participate?
All children aged 4 – grade 5 are invited to participate!
Who May Volunteer?
Teens in grades 9-12 and adults are invited to volunteer!
Adult volunteers (18yrs and older) must have a completed background check on file with the Archdiocese of Hartford, or undergo a successful background check prior to the start of camp, and be trained (or willing to be trained) in VIRTUS: Protecting God’s Children.
What Teen Volunteers Can do BEFORE Camp Week:
For any crafty teens out there, we need help prepping materials. There will be plenty of cutting and organizing craft materials by day.
We will also need colorful posters made.
Gather a small group of friends and let us know when YOU are available, and we can set up a time to prep materials. It could be an evening for a couple of hours or a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
What Teen Volunteers Can do DURING Camp Week
There are five stations of activities and teens will be needed at each station to help the adult volunteers.
The stations include Bible Stories, Crafts, Games, Snack, and a group discussion called Go Deeper.
For any teens who love to act, we have something for you too! Each day, there will be a skit showing kids how we can take care of the environment right at home. We will make a set, rehearse, and put on a show for the kids. There will be skit prep prior to camp week so we can gather set materials and practice lines.
