Would you like to help prepare our sacred spaces for liturgy and prayer? Are you seeking an opportunity to not only grow in your own spiritual life but also help our entire parish community draw deeper into the mysteries of our Catholic faith through learning more about the use of colors, symbols and senses in sacred liturgies?
SS. Isidore and Maria Parish is seeking volunteers who are willing to share their time, talent and vision to join the newly forming Parish Arts and Environment Committee.
Currently, the Arts and Environment Committee is called to serve the parish by enhancing the environments of both St. Paul Church for communal worship and St. Augustine Church for private prayer throughout the liturgical year. Ultimately, this committee will work to use flowers, fabric and other materials to foster a liturgical prayer life that is reverent, beautiful and joyful.
The committee will meet approximately four to five times per year for planning purposes. Additional time may be required during the holiday seasons to prepare, set-up, and take down liturgical decor.
