UPDATE: Masking in Glastonbury (Oct. 2, 2021)

As of Oct. 2 at 8 a.m., the Town of Glastonbury has discontinued its local indoor mask requirement for most public buildings. In line with the Archdiocese of Hartford guidance, masks or face coverings are now optional for persons visiting our parish churches, St. Paul and St. Augustine.

Town officials continue to monitor public health data on the COVID-19 pandemic and amend the masking requirements as circumstances warrant.

Continuing to wear a face mask is an individual decision. People may choose to continue to wear masks now that this requirement is discontinued. We strongly urge unvaccinated persons, particularly children under the age of 12, to continue to mask and social distance whenever possible and appropriate.
