April 30 and May 1: Mother’s Day Diaper Drive Challenge

Did you know that child poverty in Connecticut is over 13%? And that 12 Connecticut cities or towns have child poverty rates over 20%?*

You can help!

The SS. Isidore and Maria Parish Health Ministry challenges all households to donate one box of diapers per family after all Masses on April 30 and May 1.

We are donating the diapers to St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center for distribution through the volunteer-led Joan C. Dauber Food Bank. It provides diapers to approximately 100 children and monthly food assistance to over 1300 families.

Dropoff will be in front of St. Paul Church after all Masses for ONE weekend ONLY: April 30 and May 1. Cash/check donations are welcome. Please make checks payable to SS. Isidore and Maria Parish, with “diaper drive” written in the memo section. For any questions please contact the parish office at 860-633-9419 or email contact@isidoreandmaria.org.
