The Archdiocese of Hartford Human Trafficking Task Force invites you to learn more about A Catholic Response to Human Trafficking. This event occurs on Tues., Mar. 28, at 7 p.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 30 Jones Hollow Road, Marlborough.
Human trafficking is occurring in our state and across the globe, and YOU can do something about it. This presentation provides education about the current state of human trafficking, focusing on the United States and Connecticut.
- Learn about the different types of human trafficking and the warning signs.
- Hear about national and local efforts to combat the issue.
- Obtain materials to initiate or join existing efforts to support victims and survivors.
- Learn how your faith community can get involved.
A free-will offering will be collected for The Underground, a grass-roots, faith-based initiative dedicated to ending sex trafficking and sexual exploitation throughout Connecticut and New England.
