The New England Chamber Choir (NECC) and Instrumental Ensemble return to SS. Isidore and Maria Parish on Sun., May 21 at 4 p.m. to perform their 47th Annual Spring Concert, featuring music by Mozart, Handel, and Monteverdi, under the direction of Richard Wm. Donohue.
Based in Durham, Connecticut, NECC is a unique group of gifted amateur musicians that performs only the best choral music, from Gregorian chant to classically inspired music written today. The choir members are nearly all experienced singers, are themselves professional musicians, or are engaged in vocal study.
The concert occurs at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury. It is open to the public, and a free-will offering will be collected.
