Thanks to your time, talent, and food donations, the Parish ImmaCare Ministry in May. Here’s what’s been happening:
- May 4: A van full of food donated by our parishioners made its way to ImmaCare to supplement their mobile outreach efforts in Hartford. Donations from our parish supplement the sandwiches ImmaCare distributes daily to unhoused people in Hartford.
- May 5: Friends of ImmaCare made and delivered a hot meal for ImmaCare’s 75 clients.
- May 12: The Parish ImmaCare Ministry made and delivered another hot meal for the 75 men using the ImmaCare shelter.
There is always a need for donations to and volunteers for the Parish ImmaCare Ministry. The next food donation pick-up is on Thurs., June 1. Please leave your pre-wrapped food donations/bottled water at either of our church locations.
Our next dinner is on Fri., June 9.
There is always a need for volunteers for both programs. This group provides a meal on the first Friday of each month from September through May and on the second Friday of the month year-round to the men at the shelter.
