Balancing Faith and Youth Sports

Many families struggle to balance faith and sports. The commitment level of today’s elite youth sports culture ($30 billion in the U.S. and growing) has multiplied so much that some parents find it increasingly difficult to carve out time for faith. However, some leading Catholic athletes, coaches, and sports journalists – including Glastonbury resident and UCONN Men’s Basketball Coach Dan Hurley – believe a strong faith in Jesus complements and enhances their pursuit of excellence in sports.
