The annual Parish Diaper Drive is happening on April 26 and 27 at all Masses.
This year, the diaper drive is being held in memory of Joan Dauber, founder of the Joan C. Dauber Food Bank at Saint Francis Hospital, who passed away on March 8.
Diapers of all sizes (plus wipes!) are needed. Large diaper sizes are highly encouraged. The goal is to provide one month’s worth of diapers for 275 children in need – close to 14,000 diapers – through the following programs:
- Family Medicine Center at Asylum Hill, Hartford
- Burgdorf Health Center, Hartford
- Parenting Support Services at Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford
- Glastonbury Social Services (larger diapers especially needed)
Diaper collection will take place outside of St. Paul Church at all Masses. Cash or check donations will be accepted and used to purchase additional diapers and wipes.
