Pastoral Council Snapshot from the Apr. 7, 2025 meeting:
Topics discussed:
- Thirty-seven teens from our parish recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation, and about 150 teens were in attendance. Archbishop Coyne officiated. Congratulations to the newly confirmed students.
- Several parishioners have recently completed training as facilitators for a new program called “Nurturing Seedlings”. This program offers guidance/suggestions for parents to assist their preschool children in learning about and growing in the Catholic faith. Invitation cards for Nurturing Seedlings will be available at all Masses on Easter weekend. Parents of children aged 0-5 are encouraged to bring home the invitation card, which includes more information and a phone number to call with questions or to sign up.
- Parishioners should feel free to introduce themselves to the Pastoral Council members, and are encouraged to express ideas and concerns. Your comments will be noted and then discussed at Pastoral Council meetings.
The current members of the Pastoral Council are Donna Berger, Kim Franklin, David Garrido-Cid, Rob Gingras, Mary Kate Hallisey, Sarah Johnson, Sydney Mazur, Brittany Solony, Tod Umbach, and Damien Walsh.
