We are delighted to welcome Theodore (Ted) Musco to SS. Isidore and Maria Parish as our new Director of Faith Formation. Ted brings a wealth of experience, deep faith, and a lifelong passion for helping individuals and families grow in their relationship with Christ.
A resident of Branford, Ted has dedicated over three decades to faith formation and evangelization at the parish, diocesan, and national levels. His most recent roles include Director of the Office of Family Life for the Archdiocese of New York and Director of Renewal Mission and Evangelization in the Diocese of Buffalo. Before that, he served for many years in the Diocese of Brooklyn, where he was instrumental in developing large-scale faith formation programs, catechetical initiatives, and leadership training for thousands of catechists, school leaders, and parish ministers.
Ted’s commitment to lifelong catechesis and family ministry is matched by his innovative approach to building faith communities. He has led efforts to integrate digital platforms into religious education and has worked closely with Catholic organizations such as Catholic Distance University and Paulist Evangelization Ministries. His leadership has been widely recognized for balancing vision with practicality and tradition with creativity.
Ted holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Fairfield University and has presented nationally on topics such as reclaiming the Great Commission and forming faith-filled leaders for the third millennium.
At SS. Isidore and Maria, Ted will oversee all aspects of Faith Formation, and expand the role to include adult sacramental preparation, including OCIA, baptism, and marriage. He begins his new role with our parish on Mon., May 19, 2025.
As we welcome Ted, we take this opportunity to express our sincerest gratitude to Donna Berger, who has served in the role of Faith Formation Director for the past four years. Her hard work and dedication are beyond measure!
