July 17: ParishSOFT Update

As many of you know, SS. Isidore and Maria Parish uses ParishSOFT Family Suite for parish registrations and online Faith Formation registration.

On July 17, ParishSOFT will be upgrading its platform to provide a new interface and design, enhanced security, single sign-on functionality, and a unified user experience. This information is particularly important for families planning on registering their children in the 2025/2026 Faith Formation program at our parish!

What does this mean for you?

If you currently have a ParishSOFT Family Suite account (AKA MyOwnChurch), there is a one-time change to your log-in that you will need to facilitate on or after July 17. Here is what you need to do:

1. After July 17, please log in to https://hartford.parishsoftfamilysuite.com. At that point, the system will display a notification on the login page informing you that your site has been upgraded to the latest version of ParishSOFT.
2. Upon logging into the current site, your user profile will be transferred to the new web platform (account.myparishsoft.com). As part of this transition, you’ll need to create a new password.
3. Remember that each user account must have a unique email address. If your email is linked to multiple accounts and one has already been moved, you’ll be asked to provide a new, unique email. To verify this email, you’ll receive a code that you must copy and paste into ParishSOFT.
4. Once you’ve set your new password, you’ll be automatically logged in to the system.
5. Going forward, use account.myparishsoft.com for login. If you accidentally visit the old URL, you’ll find a link redirecting you to the new one.
6. After your initial login, sign out and then sign back in. You’ll be prompted to set up your multi-factor authentication (MFA) preference. This requires that you enter a cell phone number for this purpose.
7. For future logins, you’ll need to provide your MFA verification (either a texted code or one from an Authenticator app) along with your new password to access your account.

If you are not currently a registered parishioner and wish to register, we encourage you to wait until July 17th or later and use the link above to create an account and register with our parish community.
