January 17, 2026 Archbishop Christopher Coyne has appointed Father Anthony J. Smith as pastor at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish, effective today (Jan. 3, 2026).
Father Anthony comes to SS. Isidore and Maria Parish fromHoly Disciples Parish, Watertown, CT. He was ordained in 2011 by Archbishop Henry Mansell and served as the Archdiocesan Director of Vocations before being assigned to St. John the Evangelist Church (now part of Holy Disciples Parish). He succeeds Father Mark Suslenko as pastor. Please keep Father Anthony and Father Mark in your prayers during this time of transition.
