Women’s Workshop: “The Power to Do”
All women are invited to take part in this six-part series, our 2019 Women’s Workshop: “The Power to Do.” We will meet on six consecutive Thursdays: on September 19 and 26, and October 3, 10, 17, and 24. We will meet from 7-8:30pm in the Library at St. Paul Church. Our title will be “The Power to Do.” Chris Seethaler and Mary Breen will facilitate.
We often hear about the men who followed Jesus, but women also played a significant role in Jesus’ ministry. Through prayer, small-group discussion and faith sharing, in this series we look at five women from the New Testament whose encounters with Jesus led them to act intentionally against the accepted place of women in their religion and culture. Through their relationships with Jesus, they became able to give what they uniquely possessed and do what needed to be done. By exploring their stories, and through prayer, participants will be awakened to their own power to act through faith.
You can sign up for the series using the form below, or the sign-up forms at both of our campuses. For more information, please email Chris Seethaler.
