Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), is a gradual process of initiation in the Catholic Faith through prayer, discussion, study and ritual for:
- Unbaptized adult who wish to explore the Catholic Faith and to possibly prepare for the initiation sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist.
- Adults who have been baptized in another Christian community who want to learn more about the Catholic religion and be received into the Faith.
- Baptized Catholics who have not received the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation and who desire to enter fully into the community of the Catholic Church.
In order to strengthen the ministry we offer to adults exploring the Catholic Faith, this Fall and Winter our RCIA team is meeting regularly to pray together, study the Rites, and prepare to welcome those interested in pursing a life with Jesus and His Church.
We look forward to welcoming those inquiring about the Catholic Church on an ongoing basis throughout the year. Weekly opportunities for prayer, discuss and study will take place, as well as opportunities to participate in ministries and activities offered by the Parish of Ss. Isidore and Maria.
Jesus calls each of us to “Go, make disciples of all nations,” (Matthew 28:18). As we prepare to accompany adults in their relationship with Christ, we are so excited for our parish to be integral in this process.
