Register for Faith Formation
Registration is now open! It will continue through Monday, August 31st.
First, please take a look the details about our Grades 1-8 programs and our Confirmation Program (Grades 9-10). Options are simpler this year, due to our online format. For Grades 1-8, you need only choose between two program formats; for Confirmation, you choose between two virtual meeting times.
When you’re ready, follow the instructions below to register. All registration for our programs will be conducted through the My Own Church portal on ParishSoft, our new data management platform. On this platform, in addition to registering your child, you can maintain your family’s record in our database (update your address or phone number, etc.).
Registration is a simple three step process.
- Create your family’s account on My Own Church. Please visit this page for instructions on how to create your account, including a video tutorial. We will manually match your account with your family’s record in our database. This process can take up to two business days. Many of our families have completed this step already.
- Register your children. When you log in to My Own Church, select the “Faith Formation” tab and then, just below that in the blue banner, “Online registration.” You’ll be invited to confirm your family’s information, select the “term” (2020-2021), then “Add” as many children as you need to register. For each child in Grades 1-8, indicate your preferred program: the Traditional Program or the Family Program. For children in Grades 9-10, indicate your preferred class time. When you’re done, click the blue “Submit registration” button. You will receive a confirmation message by email.
- Pay the registration fee. The base registration fee is the same as last year: $70 per child. In sacramental years, there is an additional fee for the annual retreat ($20 in Grades 2 and 3; $50 in Grade 10). Once you’ve submitted your registration, on the confirmation page, click “Pay now” at the bottom of the page. You’ll be taken to a secure payment page. On that page, use the checkboxes to select all the grades for which you have registered children, enter your payment information, then click “Submit your payment.” You will receive a confirmation message by email – and you’re done!
