UPDATE: Help STOP State Sponsored Suicide in Connecticut

The Connecticut General Assembly is considering legalizing a form of suicide commonly referred to as “aid-in-dying” or “physician-assisted suicide”. The legislation is House Bill 6425 “An Act Concerning Aid in Dying for Terminally Ill Patients”.

This bill was approved by the Public Health Committee on March 5, and will be considered by the full General Assembly prior to the end of this legislative session on June 9.

Catholic teaching condemns physician-assisted suicide because it, like murder, involves taking an innocent human life. We should never allow legislators to establish suicide as a solution to medical issues.
