Pastoral Council Snapshot from the Jan. 9, 2023 Meeting:
- Solemn Celebration of Evening Prayer with Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament: Parishioners have enjoyed these wonderful evening prayer services, and two more have been scheduled: Mon., Feb. 27 at 6:30 p.m. and Mon., Mar. 27 at 6:30 p.m.
- Hospitality Weekend: The Socials were well attended, and the next Hospitality Social Weekend is on Feb. 4 and Feb. 5.
- Food bank: The parish is supporting the town’s new self-serve food bank by collecting laundry detergent, dish soap, shampoo, and toothpaste at all Masses on the weekend of Jan. 28/29.
- Archdiocesan October Attendance Count Analysis: Mass attendance has declined significantly between 2016-2022 throughout the Archdiocese at a rate of 67%, with SS. Isidore and Maria Parish experiencing a 3% decline.
- Considering points of core virtues for our parish: Discussions began to create consistencies across all ministries, aligning our efforts with the virtues of faith, hope, and love.
