The Glastonbury Self-Select Food Bank is seeking donations to help our neighbors in need. The food bank offers food items to pre-registered, income-eligible Glastonbury residents. Residents can “shop” once a month by scheduled appointments. The Food Bank operates solely from community donations and needs our ongoing support. There is currently a need for the following items:
- Canned fruit
- Canned meat
- Rice
- Pasta Sauce
- Jelly
- Baked Beans
- Coffee/Tea
- Snacks (granola bars/crackers)
The Food Bank accepts non-perishable food donations at the Riverside Community Center at 300 Welles Street on Mondays from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.. You may also donate to support the food bank. Click here for more information.
