May 10: Glastonbury Hymn Sing

Join the musicians of five Glastonbury church choirs in singing hymns of praise at the Glastonbury Hymn Festival on Fri., May 10 at 7 p.m. at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main Street, Glastonbury.

Choristers from SS. Isidore and Maria Catholic Parish, Lutheran Church of St. Mark, St. James’ Episcopal, First Church of Christ, Congregational, and The Congregational Church of South Glastonbury welcome the community to sing along as we raise our voices in joyful song.

There will also be a brass quintet, timpani, and handbells, all directed by the Music Directors from the five churches: Jim Barry, Greg Flower, David Garrido-Cid, Angela Salcedo, and Martin Smith. The audience will sing several selections along as well. It’s an interactive, all-ages concert you won’t want to miss!

Admission is free. A free-will offering will be taken up to benefit the Glastonbury Food Pantry, sponsored by Glastonbury Links Together.
