A Bereavement Facilitator Training Workshop takes place on Thurs., Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. – 12 noon at St. Paul Church in Classroom 1 near the Parish office.
This training workshop is for anyone looking to volunteer to become a New Day Bereavement Facilitator. New Day is a program coming to our parish that offers small group grief support through prayer, Scripture reading, journaling, and sharing responses to discussion questions in a confidential setting. The workshop will provide direction in developing bereavement groups within the parish, planning and guiding group sessions, and making human connections that can help to mend broken hearts. Light refreshments will be served. Registration is required.
