“Jesus Christ loves you; he gave his life to save you; and now he is living at your side every day to enlighten, strengthen, and free you.”
(Evangelii Guadium, #64)

The goal of Lifelong Faith Formation and Youth Ministry is to lead us to a closer encounter with Christ and a deeper engagement in the Church.

ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2026-2027 is now closed.

Please contact the parish office at 860-633-9419 for assistance.

On Tuesday September 15th at 6:30pm, we will hold a parent meeting to review the upcoming year.  The meeting will be held in the South Wing of the church. Class assignments will be provided, books will be distributed and a schedule calendar will be given to each family. We will also review expectations for families and answer questions you might have regarding the program.  As a parent you are the first and primary teacher of the faith and we will help you in this most important responsibility.

The first session for children in Grades 1-8 is the week of October 4, teens in Grade 9 begin on October 25, and teens in Grade 10 begin on September 27.

Thus, our first catechists are our parents: those who first spoke to us and taught us to speak. Just as we learned our mother tongue, so too the proclamation of the faith cannot be delegated to someone else; it happens where we live, above of all in our homes, around the family table. When there is a voice, a gesture, a face that leads to Christ, the family experiences the beauty of the Gospel.

The SS. Isidore and Maria Parish Faith Formation Office supports all Catholics, no matter one’s age or state in life. At every stage, the Church desires to accompany those seeking an initial or enriched encounter with God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Sacramental preparation, Scripture Study, small faith-sharing groups, family life initiatives, evangelization initiatives, ongoing religious education and formation at every level, youth ministry, young adult ministry, adult faith formation, and Sacramental preparation are just some of the many opportunities offered for lifelong faith formation.

The Faith Formation Office assists in providing pastoral development and support for those serving as or interested in serving as a catechist, aide, small group adult faith-sharing leader, and accompanying families with special needs, as well as in many other areas of faith formation and youth ministry.
