Fall Festival 2026 – Photo Gallery

Message from Father Anthony

We were watching the forecast all week. The forecast for Sunday did not look good and sure enough the predicted rain came heavily Sunday morning. The prospect of a good turn out for our parish Fall Festival was bleak. As I pulled into the Elks property I was amazed by the number of cars I saw and equally surprised by the amount of people under the pavilion. People came and were having a great time. The rain may have kept us under the pavilion, but that didn’t dampen the atmosphere.

The food was great and plentiful, the venue was beautiful and the raffle baskets were overwhelming. Children played games under the tent and we even had an officer from the Glastonbury Police Department come and give tours of their vehicle to our children. The Festival was a great success!! And that success was made possible by the time and hard work of a core group of parishioners led by Laura Fish-Kelly, Erin Sullivan and Damien Walsh.

In addition, many parishioners, including students in our faith formation program, volunteered to cook, help set up, keep the grounds clean and stayed late to assist with taking everything down afterward. And thank you to our parish staff members, Melissa and Donna, who worked behind the scenes to assist the volunteers.

On behalf of the whole parish, I extend my sincere gratitude to Laura, Erin and Damien, all our volunteers and our staff for making this Fall Festival, albeit a wet one, a great success! I also want to thank our vendors, businesses, and parishioners that contributed food, baskets for our raffle, decorations for our venue, and games for the children. Rain or shine, we will continue this wonderful tradition. Thank you!!
