“There’s nothing wrong with success. We run into trouble with how we define it.
If we keep our eyes fixed on Jesus Christ and ask the question, what is success? Then the answer is going to involve the disposition of our heart, caring for the essence of our soul, finding peace, following the path of love, living with a joyful spirit. But when we define success in terms of wealth and power and control and domination, success begins to go down that road of definition that we’re taking our minds and our eyes off of Jesus Christ and placing them on the world of self-concern.” – Father Mark
