In the search for meaningful, quality liturgical materials, our music ministry is mindful of including music or texts written by women. Since March is Women’s History Month, we celebrate and highlight women’s contributions to liturgical music by including their work in our weekend celebrations at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish. Here are some examples of what you’ve heard – and will hear – from women composers and lyricists in the world of liturgical music:
