The Archdiocese of Hartford has announced that parishes within the Archdiocese may reopen for the public celebration of both daily Masses and regularly scheduled confessions. Based on this guidance, SS. Isidore and Maria Parish has resumed holding daily Mass each Mon., Tues., and Wed., at 7:30 a.m., and 12:15 p.m. each Friday at St. Paul Church, and will hold confessions each Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at St. Paul Church.

In preparation, please find below a detailed Q & A about the daily Mass schedule:

Q: When are daily masses being held?
A: Daily Masses at SS. Isidore and Maria Parish will be held each Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday at 7:30 a.m., and Fridays at 12:15 p.m. Please note that NO daily Masses will be held on either Thursdays or Saturdays.

Q: Where are our parish daily Masses being held?
A: All daily Masses will be held at St. Paul Church.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation to attend Mass?
A: We no longer require that those wishing to attend Mass sign up in advance. Seating is on a first come, first seated basis.

Q: What protocols are being put in place to ensure health and safety?
A: To ensure the health and safety of all, we have implemented the following public health guidance:

  • Congregation size will be limited to approximately 100 people

  • Face masks are required of all members of the congregation. It is also highly recommended that you bring a personal supply of hand sanitizer.

  • Those attending Mass are required to keep proper social distancing while in church. This will require everyone to remain six feet apart from anyone who is not a member of their household.

  • To help maintain the recommended six-foot distance between congregants, please follow the directional arrows and walking patterns within the church, and please sit only where the usher indicates.

We also request that anyone who is sick, or showing symptoms of illness, to please refrain from attending Mass.

Q: What happens when I arrive at St. Paul Church for daily Mass?
A:  Upon your arrival, please enter using the front door (Main Street entrance), and an usher will seat you at the next available open seat within the church.

Q: Will Holy Communion be made available?
A:  Yes, Holy Communion will be given at the end of Mass. Communicants are asked to:

  • Receive the consecrated host in your hand

  • Step to the side

  • Lower your mask

  • Consume the host

  • Replace your mask

  • Exit the church via the side doors following the directional arrows and walking patterns within the church.
