HOPE Ministry

The SS. Isidore and Maria Parish HOPE Ministry aims to carry out our Gospel call to enhance the quality of life and self-sufficiency of those in our community in need of financial and social services.

The parish HOPE Ministry’s first effort is to partner with neighboring faith communities to provide assistance to Glastonbury families facing food insecurity. This partnership aims to:

  • Supplement the support that families currently receive from Glastonbury Social Services, and
  • Provide eligible children in Glastonbury’s elementary schools with a backpack each week filled with nutritious items for the weekend.

Donations to help support this program are now being accepted here. In addition, volunteers are needed to help assemble the backpacks each week.
